I’m Christine Koch, a South African artist inspired by my connection with people and their life stories.

Oil painting, charcoal, pastels and watercolor are the mediums that I choose to work with. My artwork inspires the viewer to connect with people and have a closer understanding of their circumstances and life stories, so that we can have more compassion and empathy for one another.

My work also exposes underlying stories that presents people’s lives. “Always be kind” is the words that I live by and that I want my art to reflect.
